A Fair Exchange
Traditionally, indigenous peoples would never charge for healing, but the community ensured the healers were well provided for so they had everything they needed to live well and do the work. In a western society, that means money. My very flexible policy around payment is to charge whatever you can afford, with $100/hr being the average. If I need to rent a space, I do expect to at least be reimbursed the $25/hr fee for that.
If you aren’t working or can’t afford to pay, it is still good to look at how to be in reciprocity, how to have a healthy form of offering from a place of genuine gratitude and paying it forward. Whether that be through services or finding a way you can share your gifts with the world, giving is an important part of receiving spirit work.
