What is a Spark of Life Retrieval?
In shamanism, there are predominantly 4 elements of life: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Combined and in good balance, these elements create what my Spirits call the "Spark of Life." This healing modality is new to western shamanism, shown and taught to me by my Spirits in 2026 for a healing client of mine. A Spark of Life Retrieval restores balance to the inner elements of a person, animal, land, business, and so on. This balance is greatly influenced by the events surrounding the client, so it does not refer to equalizing the 4 elements to each other, but bringing them into balance with life. This may mean Air is at a higher level than Earth, Water is lower than Fire, etc. It is the Spirits who diagnose this and help me to put this corrected balance into action for my client.
What are some ways to know the Elements are out of balance?
There are many ways the life elements can become out of balance, both with each other and the client's life:

Clients with chronic depression often come to me self-diagnosing this issue, saying, "I've lost my spark for life." Generally, I will see theat taheir Fire element has been severely depleted due to not enough Fire (love, passion, joy, activity, etc.) coming into their lives. It can also happen if too much of someone else's Fire is weaponized toward them (anger, rage, violence, etc.).

Animals with chronic, inexplicable urinary tract infections are often out-of-balance with Water. Some have too little, some have too much, and the excessive urination or thirst symptoms are indicative of this.

Businesses who are struggling to get started can be lacking the Earth element. Finding ways to work in reciprocity, both within the business structure as well as out into the world with its clients or services can be a game-changer.

Any being, be it animal, human, plant, or land, can feel disconnected at some point. This is sometimes due to depletion with Air. The Air element has no boundaries like the oceans and continents do. It has been a great reconnecter to life-force in my healing work.
