Co-Teaching with Sandra Ingerman

Beginning Tuesday, July 28th, I will be co-teaching a 12-week course with Sandra Ingerman and 9 other teachers she's trained, who are also representing the incredible folks on ShamanicTeachers.com, via The Shift Network.

You can find out more and register for her FREE intro call on July 11th using my affiliate link here. It will be recorded and there will be an encore of the call on July 14th.

Sandra begins with 2 weeks of introducing everyone to shamanic journeying. After that, all 10 of us each get a session. My session will be on September 1st and is about Healing Song at Sandra's request. I will be adding in just a little bit about working with animals, since they go so well together.

I cannot begin to tell you what a "you've arrived" moment this is for me.

I begged the first shamanic practitioner I worked with to teach me how to journey for nearly 2 years before she referred me to work with Sandra directly. My formal shamanic training began in 2018 with Sandra on The Shift Network! Now I'm going to be teaching alongside her, some of my mentors from those days, and on The Shift Network myself? NO WAY! I'm still shaking my head in disbelief, amazement, deep gratitude, and relief. This feels like the stuff of fairytales, yet it's my life.

That's shamanism in a nutshell, I guess. On the best days, it's pure magic.

It's a good thing Sandra invited me, I could never have imagined this for myself. When she began to broach the subject with me, it didn't even occur to me she was working up to asking me to teach something for the incredible vision she had for this course. I was full of doubt: I'm too young, too inexperienced, too new to the scene. Sandra reminded me she began at 29-years-old... and I'm way past that.

To get to share Healing Song in the way I work with it, bridging Sandra's passion with Zara's talent and my music degrees, is such a wonderful way I can pay everyone's generosity in my own healing path forward.

My personal healing really began with Mr. Foster, my violin professor at Eastern Michigan University back in 2005. He introduced me to energy work. Then in 2021, Zara Waldebäck saved my life during a dark night of the soul period with healing song. In 2024, Sandra gave me my lungs back after choosing me to be the demo for extraction healing in our Practitioner Training. Without that healing, I wouldn't be able to sing like I do now in sessions and Circles. After lung surgery, I lost the breath support I needed to sing like I used to.

My trauma drama really started when my 5th grade Orchestra teacher died in a car accident. To share the Spirit of Music in this way feels like completing the long cycle of healing I've been in ever since. This is so elegant, I can't dream up a better ending.
