For the dead and dying:
What is psychopomp?
Psychopomp simply means a conductor of souls, someone who helps others to begin the process of leaving their body, dying, and crossing over to the Spirit World in a good way.

When we’re dying, it actually takes a lot of energy for the soul to let go of the body completely. I help teach nature beings, animals, and people to practice leaving their body — as we do in a shamanic journey — so that the death process can be as fear-free as possible. This method provides comfort, easefulness, and informed consent when the body says it’s time.

Sometimes, unresolved business can prevent a person from dying or crossing over. Whether with the being alive or dead, I will perform healings, ceremonies, and counseling to help bring a sense of peace to the soul and completion to the being’s life. Very often, this includes a soul retrieval. When the soul is complete again, it has the power to let go of the body.

One of my favorite cases was a 17-year-old dog who refused to die, despite multiple severe health conditions. My Spirits said to do a soul remembering, not because she didn’t know her purpose, but so that she could see it was fulfilled.
